• In December, the scientific conference "harmonizing domestic law with the acquis of the European Union"

On December 12, 2024, from 14 p.m., the Faculty of Legal Sciences of "Apeiron" University is organizing an international scientific and professional conference entitled "Harmonization of domestic law with the acquis of the European Union". Presentation of the report continues a day later, on December 13, from 10 am.

President of the Organizing Committee and Dean of the Faculty of Legal Sciences, prof. Dr. Ljubinko Mitrović points out that the quality of papers is what determines each conference and makes it good or bad, and that the papers accepted for this Conference are at an extremely high scientific and professional level. The Dean, together with the Minister of Justice of the Republika Srpska, Miloš Bukejlović, wrote the paper Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina - from the protector of the Constitution to its biggest violator for the conference.

Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska and teacher of "Apeiron" University, prof. Dr. Siniša Karan will present the topic "Judgment of the European Court of Human Rights - the process of unitarization and majorization".

Academician prof. Dr. Miodrag Simović, former judge and president of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Ma Jelena Kuprešanin will speak about the right to life and bodily integrity.

"New legislation of the European Union in the area of ​​prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism" is the report of the director of the Tax Administration of the Republic of Srpska, prof. Dr. Goran Maričić and Assoc. Dr. Gojko Pavlović.

Scientific papers will also be presented by prof. Dr. László István Gál and Prof. Dr. Balázs Elek who are coming to us from Hungary, but also our guest from Macedonia, prof. Tatjana Gerginova, Ph.D.

Judge of the Supreme Court of the Republika Srpska and also a professor at the "Apeiron" University Veljko Ikanović will speak about the compatibility of the criminal legal protection of the environment in the Republika Srpska with EU law.

A total of 22 scientific and professional papers will be exhibited at the two-day scientific meeting, and among them are the research achievements of former students of the Faculty of Legal Sciences of "Apeiron" University, today experts in the field of law - Jovanke Delić, MSc, and Jane Ivanović Grahovac, MSc.
