Organized by the Faculty of Philological Sciences of the Pan-European University "Apeiron" and Lomonosov Moscow State University, the First International Conference on "NEW AND TRADITIONAL IN TRANSLATOLOGY AND TEACHING OF RUSSIAN LANGUAGE AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE", on Saturday, March 7.

The conference was attended by the dean of the Faculty of Translation of Lomonosov Moscow State University, prof. Nikolay Garbovski, PhD, dean of the Faculty of Humanitarian Technologies of the Russian New University in Moscow, prof. Dr. Olga Ivanova, Dean of the Faculty of Russian Language as a Foreign Language of Moscow State University RKI, Prof. Dr. Marija Esakova, as well as the representative of Russian Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, professors from Magnitogorsk Technical University, Southwestern State University "Kursk" Russia, Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy and cultural attaché of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"The very successful cooperation between "Apeiron" and "Lomonosov" University has been going on for years. Students of the Faculty of Philological Sciences of the Pan-European University are always welcome in Russia. Here, they improve their Russian language and actively participate in international conferences, round tables and scientific discussions," emphasized prof. Nikolay Garbovsky, PhD, dean of the Faculty of Translation of Moscow State University "Lomonosov".

The Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Petr Ivancov, officially opened the Conference.

"Cooperation between Russia and Republika Srpska in the field of education, culture and science is very good, and this conference confirms it", the ambassador pointed out.

Professors of the University of "Saints Cyril and Methodius" from Skopje, the Faculty of Philology of the University of Belgrade, the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Niš, the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Novi Sad, the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Kosovska Mitrovica, the general secretary of the Association of Scientific and Professional Translators also took part in the scientific gathering. of Serbia, editor-in-chief of the magazine Prevodilac.

More than 75 authors from Russia, Greece, Moldova, Poland, Serbia, Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Macedonia presented papers on the topic dedicated to translation problems and issues of the global system of using special online technologies in learning the Russian language as foreign.

"Apeiron University" has signed agreements on cooperation with Moscow State Regional University, Lipetsk State University and Tambov State University, Russian People's Friendship University and State University of Russian Language "ASPushkin", Pedagogical State University "IM Herzen" in Saint Petersburg. So far, 32 "Apeiron" students have gone to these universities for training, and they return with excellent knowledge of the Russian language. In the Conference dedicated to the language, our students were involved in all segments," said Prof. Dr. Larisa Čović, Dean of the Faculty of Philological Sciences of the Pan-European University.
