THE XV INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE EDASOL 2025 WAS HELD: "ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS - CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES"

Organized by the Pan-European University "Apeiron" from Banja Luka, the 13th International Scientific Conference on Economic Development and Living Standards - EDASOL 2025 was successfully held on June 2025, XNUMX, under the title: "Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Business - Challenges and Opportunities".

This year's conference brought together numerous scientific and expert authorities from the country and abroad, with the aim of exchanging knowledge, experiences, and the latest research achievements in the field of applying artificial intelligence and digital transformation in modern business, with a special focus on sustainable development.

Introductory presentations at the conference were held by:

• Prof. Dr. Inga Koryagina, Plekhanov University of Economics, Moscow
• Jasmin Jakupović, MSc, School of Engineering, Jönköping University, Sweden
• Maja Ozmec-Ban, MSc, Faculty of Traffic Sciences, University of Zagreb

The conference program included presentations of scientific papers, thematic sessions, panel discussions and interactive debates, which addressed key topics such as the digitalization of business processes, innovation, sustainable resource management and new technologies in the function of economic development.

The conference was officially opened by the Rector of the Pan-European University "Apeiron" Prof. Dr. Sanel Jakupović, while the attendees were also addressed by Mr. Dražen Višnjić, Director of the Agency for Information Technologies of the Republic of Srpska, who emphasized the importance of such gatherings for connecting the academic community with the economy and society as a whole.
