The city administration organized a reception for "Apeiron" students who won first place in Podgorica and brought the prestigious award to Banjaluka
Mirna Savić-Banjac, adviser to the mayor of Banja Luka, Adrian Basar, manager of marketing and public relations, together with their colleagues, hosted young innovators, students of "Apeiron" University - Daniel Menićanin, Jelena Radanović and Nikola Račić, in front of the City Administration yesterday, December 5 , and the reason is the first place won and the prestigious Butterfly Innovation Award, which this trio from Podgorica brought to Banja Luka ten days ago.
Representatives of the City Administration praised the work of "Apeiron" students and emphasized their readiness to support young innovators through various programs and initiatives. They discussed the importance of innovation for the development of the local community and the possibilities of organizing events that would inspire other young people to get involved in similar projects, as well as strengthening ties between local innovators and international platforms for talent development. Students presented their ideas for future activities that can contribute to the progress of the city.
We would like to remind you that the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), an intergovernmental organization of Southeastern European countries funded by the European Union, at the Butterfly Innovation Forum in Montenegro, awarded our students in the youth category for the innovation PressBrake Software - adaptive software that automates outdated hydraulic presses in the metal industry.
Daniel, Jelena and Nikola presented their city and country in an extraordinary way at the Butterfly Innovation Forum, won first place in the competition of teams from six countries of the Western Balkans and once again proved their talent and commitment to innovation. The award is a confirmation of the extraordinary effort and dedication of the team in the field of innovation and not only promotes Banja Luka, Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina at the regional level, but also serves as motivation for all young people to explore their potential and contribute to the community through innovation and creative projects.
