RECORD RESPONSE AT CAREER AND INTERNSHIP DAYS: 20 COMPANIES IN ONE PLACE

Record turnout at Career and Internship Days: 20 companies in one place

The traditional event "Career and Practice Days" was held at the Pan-European University "Apeiron". During the two-day program, a significant number of representatives of domestic and foreign companies gathered in one place, which is sufficient proof that we are successfully building bridges between knowledge and practice, between education and the labor market. 20 companies actively participated in the program through thematic round tables, presentations and promotional stands.

Through cooperation between the academic and business sectors, students were provided with better insight into contemporary trends in the labor market, and opportunities for professional practice, employment, education, and scholarships were presented.

The event was organized by the Career Guidance Center. Contributions to this event were made by the Faculty of Business Economics, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Information Technologies, and Faculty of Transport and Communications.

Representatives of the District and Basic Courts of Banja Luka responded to the host's invitation. A representative of the Baroš Law Office spoke about the role of lawyers in court proceedings.

The Faculty of Business Economics gathered the largest number of participants. A round table was held on "Aligning learning outcomes with the needs of the labor market". Among the participants were representatives of the Investment and Development Bank of the RS, Sparkasse and ProCredit banks, and the companies Profi Nova, Management solutions, Monet broker. In addition to them, Dunav osiguranje, Aiesec, Experience joined them in promoting the companies with their inspiring and dynamic presentations.

High school students and health science students learned about the business practices of the largest operator of nursing homes in western Austria. Innsbrucker Soziale Dienste is a company that has been operating since 2003 and has more than 1.500 employees under its roof. Representatives of the Center for Aesthetic Dentistry "Simić Dent" spoke about the employment opportunities for managers in private healthcare institutions.

The second day of the event was reserved for the Faculty of Information Technologies. The following companies responded to the host's invitation: Teleklik, the Agency for Information and Communication Technologies of the Republic of Serbia, 3PKO, Lanaco, Experience, Aiesec.

Representatives of EuroExpress express mail spoke at the Faculty of Transport and Communications about their career path and development from 2008 to the present, answering questions about what makes them stand out on the job market. Dunav osiguranje and Krajina osiguranje also participated.

The University Auditorium was a gathering place for students and leading actors in the labor market. At stands with promotional materials, participants were given the opportunity to exchange experiences, make valuable contacts, and learn about job openings.

It was also an opportunity for attendees to learn about the possibilities of studying abroad. The European Union's Erasmus+ program is known for the mobility of students, teachers, and associates, and at their stand, students learned about the conditions and advantages of studying at prestigious European higher education institutions.
