Cooperation between "Apeiron" and the University of Moscow aimed at children with developmental difficulties


On September 15, the rector, vice-rector, three deans and 22 students of the Moscow University of Social Psychology and Pedagogy, on the initiative of "Apeiron", arrived at the Prijedor Public Institution "Sunce", which provides primary and secondary education for children with developmental disabilities.


The purpose of the three-day visit is the practice of Russian students, and it resulted from the friendly relations and cooperation of the Pan-European and Moscow University of the Russian Federation. A total of 15 students, five future psychologists, pedagogues and special education teachers will have at their disposal a large selection of pedagogical and didactic methods within the defined curriculum.


- Great experience and importance in the education of our students, especially in terms of practice, is given by cooperation with institutions outside of Russia, and we are especially grateful to "Apeiron" University, which connected us with "Sun" and together provided us with practice. Our students will have the opportunity to be in direct contact with children who have developmental difficulties, said Academician Meljnikov Dmitry Alekseevich, Rector of the Moscow University of Social Psychology and Pedagogy.  


The students and teachers of Prijedor "Sunc", as hosts, prepared a suitable program for their guests, and the Mayor of Prijedor, Dalibor Pavlović, also attended the ceremony.


- This visit will help the center and the employees, who will be able to exchange their experiences with Russian colleagues and raise their work to an even higher level. Thanks to the "Apeiron" initiative for our city to be the host, emphasized the mayor.


The suggestion that the cooperation should go this way came from the newly elected rector of the Pan-European University, Sanel Jakupović, who will take up that position on October 1. The rector said that according to the request, which came to "Apeiron" from colleagues from Moscow, he proposed that the main and main work program of mobility and practice should be implemented in Prijedor within the framework of the Public Institution "Sunce", which carries out the activities of primary and secondary education. for children with developmental disabilities. Jakupović emphasized that, according to all relevant parameters, "Sunce" represents the leading educational institution of its kind in the Republic of Srpska and one of the first five public institutions at the level of the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina.


Exceptional gratitude from the two rectors, from Banja Luka and from Moscow, was addressed to the host, students, professors and other employees at the "Sunce" center, especially assistant. Dr. Slađani Radaković, who, as the director, has led this institution bravely and devotedly for almost a decade.


- It is an honor to be chosen as the host of this study visit among three related institutions. Our guests will stay at the school, work directly with students and have the opportunity to see how we work on specific issues with a specific child. I believe that this type of cooperation, in which we will exchange experiences, will become traditional, said the director of "Sunca".
