ACADEMIC DRAGO BRANKOVIĆ HELD LECTURES ON DIDACTIC AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Academician Drago Branković held lectures and a workshop on didactics and teaching methods

On March 20, 2024, the lecture and workshop on didactics and teaching methods at the University "Apeiron" was held by the respected academician prof. Dr. Drago Branković, organized by the Office for Quality Assurance of the University and the Faculty of Law. All participants who did not attend the lectures in the amphitheater had the opportunity to join online through the Zoom application.

The lecture began with a review of didactics, defining it as the science and art of teaching. In his lecture, among other things, Academician Branković dealt with the complexity of pedagogy, emphasizing its connection with 21 scientific disciplines.

Different teaching methodologies are defined, including traditional lecture-based approaches, student-centered learning and collaborative techniques, but also modern methods that follow accelerated technological development. The importance of harmonizing teaching methods with learning goals and students' needs was emphasized.
