"Apeiron" and the State Institute from Moscow put the focus on the Russian language with a joint conference




International scientific meeting "New and traditional in translation studies and teaching of Russian as a foreign language" on April 12


The Faculty of Philological Sciences of the Pan-European University "Apeiron" with the support of the Moscow Institute of Russian Language AS Pushkin on Friday, April 12, starting at 9 a.m., is organizing an international scientific conference "New and Traditional in Translation Studies and Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language".


Afanasievna Elmira Maratovna, chief research associate of the AS Pushkin State Institute of the Russian Language from Moscow, will speak at the plenary session about the spiritual path of Pushkin, the dialogue between the poet and the metropolitan Philaret.


The representative of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow), Daria Yuryevna Vashchenko, is also participating in the conference.

Darija is a doctor of philological sciences, a senior research associate of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and at the plenary session she will present the topic: "Contrast-oriented analysis of temporal lexicon: problems and method"


Russian academician Nikolay Konstantinovich Garbovsky, director of the Higher School of Translation of the Moscow State University "Lomonosov", will speak on the topic "Cognitive research of artistic translation".


"Through the application, over 80 authors from Russia, Greece, North Macedonia, Spain, China, Turkey, India, Indonesia, Serbia, Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina will report and present their scientific works," said Prof. Dr. Larisa Čović, president of the Conference Organizing Committee.


As part of the conference, a section for young scientists - master's and doctoral students - will be organized.
