Vesna Novaković was awarded for her professional contribution to the affirmation of entrepreneurial and social creativity in the Republic of Srpska


Vesna Novaković, a professor at the Pan-European University, was awarded the prestigious award "Captain Miša Anastasijević" for her contribution to the development of the prosperity of Republika Srpska, on December 8 in Bansko dvor, at a ceremony called "The Way to the Top - from Captain Miša to Nikola Tesla".


- I am honored to be chosen as the laureate of this prestigious award, and the award came for my professional contribution to the affirmation of entrepreneurial and social creativity in the Republic of Srpska. I like when actions speak and I especially emphasize the fact that I am the author of the Economics textbook for the second grade of secondary economics school, which I am proud of, because since the founding of our Republic, this is the first textbook for that subject and that class whose author is from the Republic of Srpska, stressed Prof. . Novaković. She added that as an educator, she tries to influence students and young people by her example, stressing that the path of knowledge is the right path they should follow in their professional life.


The award, which is given to the best actors of economic, political and social creativity in the Republic of Srpska, was also presented to the Prime Minister, Radovan Višković and the Minister of Internal Affairs of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin, to His Eminence Bishop Jefrem of Banja Luka. A total of 24 awards - statuettes and charters with the image of Mihajlo Miša Anastasijević, a great Serbian merchant and philanthropist, were awarded to other prominent creators from Republika Srpska. Among them are the head of Laktaš, Miroslav Bojić, the general manager of the company Lanako, Nebojša Ninić, the general director of Elektroprivreda RS Luka Petrović and others from the fields of sports, entrepreneurship, culture and art.


This project is organized under the auspices of the Chambers of Commerce of Serbia and Republika Srpska, with the support of the universities of Novi Sad, Belgrade, East Sarajevo and Banja Luka. This year, on behalf of the hosts, the guests were greeted by the rector of the University of Banja Luka, prof. Dr. Radoslav Gajanin and presented awards to the Prime Minister and the Minister.


The prestigious "Captain Miša Anastasijević" award in the Republic of Srpska has been awarded since 2016, and the project was created in Novi Sad 20 years ago with the basic idea of ​​affirming the economic and social creativity of Serbia and the region.
