Project manager, prof. Dr. Danislav Drašković, vice dean of the Faculty of Traffic, presented the working version of the study to interested target groups, especially expert groups and citizens, on January 8 in Bijeljina, after which the safety check project was completed.

"New traffic regimes were designed in the intersections formed by Ulica Majevička and conceptual solutions of the so-called integrated streets. On such surfaces, pedestrians and cyclists behave dominantly, while motor vehicles are "guests", moving at a speed no higher than the speed of pedestrians (10 km/h).", Draskovic said. He added that special attention was paid to changing the traffic regime at the intersection of Majevička, Ulica kneginje Milica and Dimitrija Tucovića, which according to traffic accident statistics is a dangerous place. The project simplified traffic at the intersection, with a special focus on pedestrian protection.
