RECTOR'S CONFERENCE OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA HELD AT THE PAN-EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY

"Apeiron" University hosted the 38th regular session of the Rector's Conference of Republika Srpska on Friday, April 1. Rectors of universities from the Republika Srpska discussed, among other things, the current topics of the round table with the Rector's Conference of Serbia-KONUS, which will be organized in the coming period.

• Topics common to academic communities and universities in the Republika Srpska, Serbia and the region were proposed, said the president of the Rectors' Conference, prof. Dr. Sanel Jakupović, rector of the Pan-European University "Apeiron". He added that there were pressing issues on the table in order to make an additional step forward in the development of higher education.
• Among the topics are accreditation and quality development in higher education institutions, ranking of universities, improvement of quality and student standard conditions. We also discussed disputed issues from the previous period regarding the deadlines for accreditation of higher education institutions, adds Jakupović.

The chairmanship of the Rector's Conference for the next two years was assumed by the Pan-European University "Apeiron", and the rector, prof. Dr. Sanel Jakupović was appointed chairman.

Full members of the Rectors' Conference are rectors of eight public and private accredited universities in the Republic of Srpska.
