A round table was held on the topic "Adjustment of the education system of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the European qualification framework"

Organized by the Faculty of Business Economics, and within the framework of the European Union project "Experiences of Slovenia and Croatia to support Accession of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the EU" (ESCA BiH), a round table was held at the beginning of July on the topic "Adaptation of the education system of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the European qualification framework".

"The intention of the European Union and countries such as Croatia is to help Bosnia and Herzegovina in the best possible preparation, introduction and harmonization of the qualification framework in accordance with the European ones", said the president of ECSA BIH (Association for European Community Studies in Bosnia and Herzegovina) and moderator of the round table prof. Ph.D. Vinko Kandžija.

Prof. Dr. Sanel Jakupović, Dean of the Faculty of Business Economics of the Pan-European University emphasized that the Basics of the Qualification Framework in BiH are the initial document of the next process of building and establishing the Qualification Framework in BiH, based on the European Qualification Framework.

"It is a framework in which every qualification acquired in Bosnia and Herzegovina has its place. At its center are learning outcomes, competences acquired and proven after learning, where the learning process itself is not crucial, because the outcome is verified. It is necessary to provide adequate training of teachers at higher education institutions and other levels of education, in relation to learning outcomes", emphasized Dean Jakupović and added that the labor market should also participate in the creation of learning outcomes, cavification and standardization of occupations, added Dean Jakupović.
