The Pan-European University received praise from Russian scientific circles


Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, State Institute of the Russian Language. AS Pushkin and the Peter the Great Polytechnic University in Saint Petersburg organized a Youth Seminar of Russian Philologists in this city from November 25 to 27, attended by Assoc. Dr. Aleksandr Shuklin. Discussions focused on strengthening the position of the Russian language and literature in the Balkan countries.



During the seminar, the organizers emphasized that they especially value the experience of "Apeiron" University in the education of Russian language and literature professors and Russian language translators, said Šuklin, a Russian who lives in his homeland, in the city of Tyumen, and has been teaching Slavic studies and Russian literature at the Pan-European University for years. .


Of the 230 young Russians who applied for the seminar dedicated to the support of the Russian language in the Balkan countries, the experts of the Pushkin Institute selected only 25 candidates from Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey and Croatia. Bosnia and Herzegovina was represented by two participants, both from Republika Srpska. Aleksandr Šuklin, together with a colleague from the University of Banja Luka, M.Sc. Sanjom Miličević presented the history and current state of the Russian language in the Republic of Srpska to the attendees and offered the Pushkin Institute opportunities for joint cooperation in this direction. The participants shared their experiences and introduced the attendees to their teaching methods.


Well-known experts of the Pushkin Institute held a series of seminars for the participants and gave recommendations on how to increase the effectiveness of teaching Russian as a foreign language.
