The top athlete of the Special Olympics of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Njegoš Mihajlović, today enrolled in the first year of studies at the Faculty of Sports Sciences of the Pan-European University. 

Mihajlović is a bronze medal winner in athletics in the 400 m race at the Summer Olympic Games, held in 2019 in Abu Dhabi. Njegoš won V place in the long jump at the same Olympics. He also performed at the Winter Olympic Games held in Schladming (Austria) in 2017 and in Nordic skiing, winning XNUMXth and XNUMXth place.

Njegoš Mihajlović is a person with disabilities and aims to show through his education that people with disabilities can overcome obstacles, that inclusion in sports has been applied at the Pan-European University for many years, and that after completing his education, he will transfer his knowledge to athletes with and without disabilities. him. Njegoš Mihajlović pointed out that this is a turning point in his life. He fulfilled his dream by participating in the Special Olympics, representing athletes with and without disabilities as a young leader at the Summit of Young Leaders held in Baku (Azerbaijan), and from today he wants to show that everything is possible for people with disabilities, through education and constant training.
