Student Daniel Menićanin participated in the workshop "Dispelling the myth about the digital transformation of SMEs"

On Tuesday, July 30, 2024, in the premises of the Development Agency of the city of Prijedor "PREDA", a thematic workshop entitled "Dispelling the myth about the digital transformation of SMEs" was held, where the results of the REPRO DI project were presented, as well as examples of digitization and digital tools that intended for small and medium enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The project "REPRO DI" is supported within the project "Innovations and digitization of SMEs in Bosnia and Herzegovina / EU4DigitalSME", which is co-financed by the European Union and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, and is organized in cooperation with the Association of Wood Processors "Klaster DRVO-PD" Prijedor and Pan-European University "APEIRON", Banja Luka.
The participant of the workshop was also a student of the Faculty of Information Technologies, Daniel Menićanin, who demonstrated an example of the innovation of converting outdated technology into a digital one, specifically the project of automating hydraulic presses.
Through the hydraulic press automation project, Daniel presented how digital transformation can improve the competitiveness of companies, increase efficiency and open new business opportunities. Its solutions are not only technically advanced, but also economically profitable, which makes them accessible and applicable for small and medium-sized enterprises.
