DEFENDED FIRST DOCTORAL DISSERTATION AT THE FACULTY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

On December 24, Dražen Marinković, Master of Computing and Informatics, defended his doctoral dissertation entitled "ANALYSIS OF POSSIBILITIES AND SPECIFICATION OF PROPERTIES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ADVANCED DATA BASES OF THE MODERN COMPUTER SOCIETY". This is the first dissertation in the doctoral studies of the third cycle of the Faculty of Information Technologies.

The dissertation belongs to the scientific field of Technical Sciences - Software Engineering, narrower scientific field of "Information and Communication Technologies", for which Pan-European University APEIRON Banjaluka - Faculty of Information Technologies is the parent. The doctoral dissertation was prepared under the mentorship of Dr. Zoran Ž. Avramović, full professor of Pan-European University APEIRON in Banja Luka - Faculty of Information Technologies.

Dražen obtained the title of Doctor of Computer Science and Informatics (in the field of information systems in communications and logistics – 480 ECTS).

The Faculty of Business Informatics at the Pan-European University APEIRON Banjaluka enrolled in the academic year 2009/2010. years. He completed the three-year basic academic studies of the first cycle in 2012 with an average grade of 8.

In 2012, he enrolled in a two-year master's degree in second-cycle academic studies at APEIRON University and graduated three years later with an average grade of 9,81.

At his home faculty in the academic year 2015/2016. enrolled in doctoral academic studies of the third cycle in the doctoral program "Information Systems in Communications and Logistics", where he passed all exams with excellent grades - exceptional, 10 and fulfilled all obligations stipulated in the plan and program of doctoral academic studies, under the mentorship of prof. Dr. Zoran Avramović.

During his doctoral studies, as author and co-author, he published 15 scientific and professional papers, two of which were published in peer-reviewed international journals.

He attended numerous scientific conferences, symposia and seminars, directly or online, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, South Africa, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine and Montenegro.

During his studies, he was chosen as a professional associate in the subject "Informatics and Computer Technologies" in the third year of studies at the Faculty of Information Technologies (2012).

In 2012, he was chosen as an assistant for the narrow scientific field of "Information Science and Bioinformatics" at the Pan-European University APEIRON.

On December 17, 2015, he was elected senior assistant in the narrow scientific field of "Computer Science" and "Information Science and Bioinformatics".
