A THREE-DAY WORKSHOP HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SPLIT WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE ERASMUS + SMEQA PROJECT: "STRENGTHENING OF CAPACITIES AND MECHANISMS FOR IMPROVING THE QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEM IN HIGHER EDUCATION IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA"
As part of the Erasmus + project SMEQA - Strengthening of capacities and mechanisms for the improvement of the quality assurance system in higher education in Bosnia and Herzegovina, on April 14, 2025, a three-day workshop began at the University of Split.
Elvedina Tatarević, Assistant Director for Legal Affairs, Maja Dujaković, University Secretary, Prof. Dr. Nina Uremović, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Business Economics, and Dragana Bulut, Expert Associate for Quality Assurance on behalf of Apeiron University participated in the aforementioned meeting.
The SMEQA project aims to strengthen capacities and mechanisms for improving the quality assurance system of higher education in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Project activities were once again focused on institutional strengthening of quality assurance mechanisms and harmonization of processes in BiH.
During the three days, topics such as: multidimensional models of internal quality assurance (IKA) in higher education institutions, support for project orientation and scientific independence of young researchers, standards from the perspective of doctoral studies, and linking standards and quality and the social dimension of higher education were addressed.
On the last day of the workshop, a series of meetings were held to discuss future project activities, including dissemination of project activities, quality assurance plan, as well as financial budget and administrative projects planned for activities in the coming period.
Aperion University is one of the nineteen partners of the Erasmus + SMEQA project, which through its participation continues to actively contribute to improving the quality of higher education and partnerships with relevant institutions.
