The conference will be held on 13-14.3.2025. at the premises of the Pan-European University ''Apeiron'' Banja Luka. The organizer of the scientific meeting is the Pan-European University "Apeiron" Banja Luka and its members, the Faculty of Sports Sciences and the Faculty of Health Sciences. The Conference Program announced 57 papers, 4 introductory papers and 4 poster presentations by students from 51 scientific research institutions from 7 countries. The conference was opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siniša Aleksić, Director of the Pan-European University ''Apeiron''. The attendees were addressed by Ms. Slađana Tanasić, Director of the Republic Pedagogical Institute of Republika Srpska and Ms. Mirna Savić Banjac, City Manager of the City of Banja Luka.

At the plenary session, in his introductory speech, Prof. Dr. Igor Jukić, from the Faculty of Kinesiology in Zagreb, reminded that athletes from our area, with very little money, achieve top results. He believes that two resources are key to this - talented athletes and coaches. Knowledge is our only chance, along with hard work, to succeed. Prof. Jukić concluded that an athlete is the best researcher, because they work instinctively and listen to their own body, which is why we should learn the most from children. It is also interesting to note that top athletes live longer than the rest of the population.

Prof. Dimitrije Čabarkapa from the University of Kansas Research Institute pointed out that portable tensiometric platforms are a popular and frequently used tool in sports diagnostics. The benefits of using such platforms include objective performance analysis, movement efficiency, detection of asymmetries, assistance in planning and programming training, and monitoring fatigue and recovery.

The keynote speaker was Dr. Nikola Jelić, director of the Academy of the Football Club ''Red Star'' Belgrade, who explained the Academy's operating system and the basic principles of work. The selection method and work with young talents place FC ''Red Star'' in the fourth best club in Europe in terms of player transfer amounts to other clubs.

The conference is intended for physical education professors, sports trainers, doctors, pedagogues, psychologists, sports organizations, sports managers and other experts related to sports and health.

The conference is included in the ranking list of categorized meetings of the Ministry of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska as a scientific meeting with international participation. The Pan-European University also publishes the international journal "Sports Sciences and Health" twice a year, which is indexed in several international citation databases, Elsevier Scopus and Erich plus being some of them.

"We are very pleased with the response, the large number of scientific papers and their quality. After the plenary session, we will continue with the sessions Sport and Health, Sport and Physical Education, Training Technology in Sports and the poster session," said Prof. Dr. Velibor Srdić, Dean of the Faculty of Sport Sciences and President of the Conference Organizing Committee.
