Professors, assistants and students of "Apeiron" today at the conference of the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Agency for Traffic Safety
"The Government of the Republika Srpska will try to provide money for safer traffic in the coming period," said Prime Minister Radovan Višković at the 13th international conference "Traffic Safety in the Local Community", which was organized today by the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Agency for Traffic Safety of the Republic Srpska, and the professors and assistants of "Apeiron" also participated.
The Prime Minister added that all conferences of this type indicate that it is necessary to improve the traffic infrastructure and that the conclusions of the conference will be a kind of guide for the Government's decisions.
Prof. Dr. Danislav Drašković, dean, professors of the Faculty of Traffic, "Apeiron" University, Zoran Ž. Avramović, Drago Talijan, Velibor Peulić, Zoran Injac and Tomislav Vujinović with their assistants today contributed to the fight for safer and safer traffic, and the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska Siniša Karan, also a professor at "Apeiron" University, said that the MUP undertook a series of preventive measures in recent years. "One of them is the stationary radars, of which there are more than 100 in the Republic of Srpska," emphasized Minister Siniša Karan.
The Minister of Transport and Communications of Republika Srpska, Nedeljko Čubrilović, and Acting Director of the Agency for Traffic Safety Mladen Petrović addressed the gathering.
In the technical organization of the conference itself, the students of the Faculty of Traffic of the University "Apeiron" participated.
With professor Zoran Ž. Avramovića, our dean Danislav Drašković, is a member of the Program Committee of the conference, and he also took part in the panel discussion on the topic: Cheap measures to improve traffic safety and financing of projects from international funds related to traffic safety in the local community.
The conference is held under the auspices of the European Council for Traffic Safety, the Government of the Republic of Srpska, the Council for Traffic Safety of the Republic of Srpska and the participation of traffic safety experts from the European Union, the Republic of Srpska and the region, representatives of the republic's institutions and organizations (ministries, the Chamber of Commerce, local units self-governments, non-governmental organizations, associations, media and others).
