WORKING VISIT OF THE GOVERNMENT EXPERT TEAM FOR RANKING

Working visit of the Government's expert ranking team

The expert team of the Government of the Republic of Srpska for the ranking of higher education institutions in the Republic of Srpska visited the Pan-European University "Apeiron" yesterday. This team consists of eminent scientific names from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia in the field of quality systems and ranking in higher education. During the several-hour visit, discussions were held with the University management, the rector and deans, teaching staff and students. Documentation, reports, guides, strategies, regulations, procedures, lists, information packages were presented.

The members of the committee also gained insight into the spatial capacities - classrooms, laboratories, library, halls, anatomy and IT cabinets, as well as the student radio and television studio. In addition to teaching, extracurricular activities were presented to them, especially extensive cooperation with the economy. We remind you that the Government of Republika Srpska established the Commission for the fight against negative phenomena in higher education with the aim of joint action by everyone in the process of ensuring the quality of this area. The Agency for Higher Education of the Republika Srpska, which is the coordinator of this government project, states that the purpose of the ranking is to better inform students and researchers, as well as decision makers at the institutional level. This will also contribute to the development of future strategies in the field of higher education. The ranking is also an incentive for higher education institutions to develop and improve quality and increase scientific productivity for the sake of international visibility and recognition.
