RECTOR OF THE PAN-EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY "APEIRON" AT THE FIRST WORKING MEETING OF ERASMUS+ MOBILITY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF PESCARA

Students, professors and administrative staff of "APEIRON" expect significant exchange programs with the Italian State University Gabriele D'Annunzio Chieti-Pescara in the period 2024-2027

On December 11, 2023, the rector of the Pan-European University "APEIRON" Prof. Dr. Sanel Jakupović started a multi-day visit to the Italian State University Gabriele D'Annunzio Chieti-Pescara (Ud'A) as part of the first working meeting (kick off meeting) of the Erasmus+ mobility program. On that occasion, he met with the rector of Ud'A Prof. Dr. Liborio Stuppia and his associates for international relations and Erasmus cooperation programs.

The meeting in Italy is attended by 30 representatives of higher education institutions from 15 countries that are (Erasmus+) partners of the University of Pescara. From Bosnia and Herzegovina, in addition to the Pan-European University "APEIRON", representatives of the University of Sarajevo, the University of East Sarajevo and the International Burč University Sarajevo are also participating.

During the working week, the meetings will discuss the modalities of the exchange program of students, academic and administrative staff between partner universities from 15 countries and Gabriele D'Annunzio University in the next 3 years (2024-2027), said Rector Prof. Dr. Sanel Jakupović and emphasized that "APEIRON" University expresses interest in programs of outgoing and incoming mobility in the areas of health, economics, business, legal and pedagogical sciences.

The University 'Gabriele d'Annunzio' (Ud'A) was founded in 1965. It consists of 14 faculties (divisions/departments) and 3 schools: Department of Psychology; Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences: Department of Medicine and Aging Sciences; Department of Neuroscience, Imaging and Clinical Sciences; Department of Psychological, Health and Territorial Sciences - Department of Medical, Oral and Biotechnological Sciences; Chair for innovative technologies in medicine and dentistry; School of Economic, Business, Legal and Sociological Sciences; Department of Economics - Department of Legal and Social Sciences; School of Humanities; Department of Literature, Arts and Social Sciences - Department of Contemporary Languages, Literatures and Cultures; Department of Architecture; Department of Business Administration; Department of Pharmacy; Department of Engineering and Geology; Department of Philosophical, Pedagogical and Economic-Quantitative Sciences.

Studies at Ud'A are conducted on two campuses - in the town of Chieti, where the rectorate and general directorate are located, and in the town of Pescara. Over 27.000 students study at the university in the first and second cycles.
