The new president of the Rector's Conference, prof. Dr. Milan Kulić, rector of the University of East Sarajevo, his deputy, prof. Dr. Sanel Jakupović, rector of the Pan-European University "Apeiron"

On February 28, 2024, the 41st regular session of the Rector's Conference of the Republic of Srpska was held at the Pan-European University "Apeiron" in Banja Luka, where numerous issues were discussed, including the election of the new leadership of the Rector's Conference, the financial report for the past year, as well as issues from the field of quality assurance in higher education.

At the session, the new leadership of the Rector's Conference was elected for a mandate period of two years (March 1.3.2024, 28.2.2026 – February XNUMX, XNUMX). Prof. Dr. Milan Kulić, rector of the University of East Sarajevo, was elected as the new president of the Rectors' Conference of the Republic of Srpska, while prof. Dr. Sanel Jakupović, Rector of the Pan-European University "Apeiron" from Banja Luka. Rector Jakupović has been the president of the Rector's Conference of Republika Srpska for the past two years, which was the mandate period. Ravijojla Đuričić, general secretary of the University of East Sarajevo, was appointed as the general secretary of the Rector's Conference. The members of the RKRS adopted the financial report for the last year.

Prof. Dr. Biljana Vojvodić, director of the Agency for Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska and assistant. dr Stevo Škrbić, deputy director of the Agency for the Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance of Bosnia and Herzegovina, informed the members of the Rectors' Conference of the Republic of Srpska on the issues of accreditation and registration in the competent registers for study programs of higher education institutions in the Republic of Srpska in the period from the entry into force of the Framework Law on Higher Education education in BiH until the period of obtaining the first accreditation.
