Days of Remembrance for the Victims of the Second World War

On April 28, the teacher of Serbian language at the "Gemit-Apeiron" High School Center, Tanja Ančić Milijašević, together with her students, prepared a program that will be remembered, on the occasion of commemorating the Day of Remembrance of innocent Serbian victims in the Second World War. The documentary film "From Death to Life", created by Professor Tanja and produced by Professor Milana Tomić, was premiered in front of the audience. Professor Bosiljka Radosavac and other professors also provided selfless help with the organization.

"Since 2015, the students of this school have been actively participating in the commemoration of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Jasenovac and all the innocent victims of the Second World War in NDH.

We celebrate Memorial Days on Bright Sunday, and rejoicing in the Risen Christ, we dedicate this gathering today to all Serbian victims and all Holy Martyrs from Kosovo to Jadovno. Since the Serbs are among the European nations that had the most human victims in the 20th century, we wanted to show how great a thing memory is, ours, and especially God's. It is the memory and life in Christ that equips us for common loyalty to our victims," emphasized Tanja Ančić Milijašević.

She added that with the film "From Death to Life" and the photo exhibition entitled "The Paths of Kozare Children", which is dedicated to the children of Kozare on the 80th anniversary of the Kozare Offensive, they are saying that with hope in the Risen Christ and with hope in a man who has incredible opportunities, to forgive and love, the world can become a better place to live."

In the Banja Luka Youth Center on April 29, an exhibition of the creativity of eight Banja Luka secondary schools students was organized on the topic "Culture of Remembrance and Remembrance", at which a program was prepared on the suffering of the Serbian people in the Second World War. The students of the "Gemit-Apeiron" High School Center also performed at the show.

The exhibition was organized under the auspices of the Republic Pedagogical Institute, with the support of the line ministry and the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of Srpska.
