Faculty of Philological Sciences

"Choose the Russian language and bring Russia closer to us"

SCIENTIFIC FIELDS AND NATIVITY

Basic academic studies of Russian language and literature are aimed at acquiring theoretical knowledge and mastering practical skills in the field of Russian language, Russian literature and culture. The further goal of these studies is to place a number of Russistic disciplines in a broader Slavic context, in order to gain a broader insight into Slavic studies in general, as well as to connect this troga (language, literature, culture) with national culture. These studies should enable students to have a comprehensive overview of the Russian profession and create the basis for further work in science and the application of its results in practice.
With the way it implements the Bologna process, with its overall commitment and constant work on improving the quality of higher education, with valuable students and dedicated teaching staff, "Apeiron" has become a desirable partner for cooperation with prestigious universities of the Russian Federation and neighboring countries.
The Faculty of Philological Sciences has signed agreements on international cooperation with 15 Russian universities: with Moscow State University "Lomonosov", Russian New University in Moscow, State Institute of Russian Language "AS Pushkin", Russian People's Friendship University (Moscow), State University in St. Petersburg, the Russian State Pedagogical University "Herzen" and others.
At all these universities, students of the Faculty of Philological Sciences deepen the knowledge acquired at their home Faculty, get to know Russian culture, traditions, customs and participate in international scientific conferences, where they present the results of their scientific research in front of an international audience. So far, over 40 students have stayed at the mentioned universities in Russia.
The Faculty of Philological Sciences, according to the already established tradition, organizes in cooperation with the Higher School (Faculty) of Translation of the Moscow State University "Lomonosov" and the Institute of Slavic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the International Scientific Conference "New and Traditional in Translation Studies and the Teaching of the Russian Language as a Foreign Language", as well as with the Higher School of Translation of Moscow State University "Lomonosov" of the International Student Conference "Russian Language in the Contemporary World".
